Default Rear rotors and pads. Is there much difference?

I'm starting to get a little bit of feedback through the brake pedal. I'm certain it's the rear pads and rotors. Well, definitely pitted and sketchy looking rotors, but the pads are in need of a swap anyway.

Is there a vast difference between what's available? I'm happy to pay a bit more for pads that are going to be a bit more long lasting.

I don't mind ordering over the Internet and waiting. I also pass an Autozone every day.

What's recommended?

Thanks.

Amazon.com: Akebono EUR493 EURO Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pad Set: Automotive Amazon.com: Akebono EUR493 EURO Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pad Set: Automotive

Reports of very low dust is a massive plus. At $50 I don't think that's outrageous.

Order them from Advance online and use discount code TRT30(30% off) and the pads come to $45 shipped.

The OEMs are smooth, vented on all four corners, I'm pretty sure. I went with smooth vented Brembo rotors on the back and the swanky black EBC slotted and dimpled up front. Akebono pads are definitely an improvement from a dust and noise standpoint.

I am currently running AllMakes cross drilled/ slotted rotors and Akebono ceramic pads on all 4 wheels. Very little dust if any and I have had zero issues since installed. Purchased rotors from Lucky8 (Justin) and pads from Amazon. I also did SS brake lines.

I'm running the AllMakes drilled and slotted rotors also. I can't remember the pad brand, it was whatever Erik or Justin recommended. They stop good, but they do make some dust. Probably going to try the Akebonos when these get worn out.

I feel this is relevant. Yesterday I was on a back mountain road going downhill for a few miles yesterday, driving pretty hard. I got the brakes so hard that the AllMakes rotors turned blue and the brakes were smoking for a good 10 minutes after I stopped. I let them cool off a while before continuing my journey. Anyway, I'm going to go see if any of them are cracked or warped today. I'll update later.

I should note, the last turn before I stopped I did have a hard time slowing down, which is why I initially stopped. They were absolutely perfect before that one turn though.
