Ohio, I had an independent LR shop look at it and, due to the obvious complexity, they did not feel comfortable taking apart the seat to fix the locking mechanism. With extreme reluctance, I purchased a row of seats from a parted out Disco and replaced mine. The seats were not in great shape, but they locked and the baby was looming (she's 5 months old now and totally worth the trouble). I think I spent something like $150 on the seats, much cheaper than having a dealership fix the issue or buying a brand new set of seats. The waste of my previous seats bothers me, but I know my girl is safe.
