Rear windows stuck after rolling down - motor works
My rear windows won’t come back up after reaching bottom. I have to use my hands and push them up to release and the motor then successfully closes it.
I assume window glass is rubbing stuck and I need to lubricate the system of so? Just checking here before
thx

Sometimes the screws loosen up and the window regulator will distort due to the force of lowering the window. When the window hits bottom it will distort enough to cause the issue. The little help you providee puts it back in line. Over time this will bend the regulator and cause the window not to go up. Hopefully an easy fix or a new regulator if the wheels/tracks are toast.
The 'half moon' sprocket of the mechanism turned beyond its lower limit and the motor gear lost grab of it. Manually pulling a bit engages the last teeth again. I put an empty capped 1L soda bottle under the glass at bottom of door and that works as a cushion preventing to go lower than it should.
