Default Rear window rolls down but not up

Hi guys,

When I bought this D2 a few months ago, the rear passenger window worked fine. It stopped working about a month later and would go down but not up. Then it eventually stopped working at all.
I just replaced the window motor and regulator and now the window is back to going down but it won't go back up.

Any ideas??

Is the replacement motor a used motor unit?

It may be the gears in the used motor unit may be stripped. Same issue with the original... would go down, but not up. I had to change to a new motor with working gears to make mine work a couple of years ago.

Did you check the switches? New window regulators may have tolerated poor continuity, but eventually disliked resistance of poor contacts within switch.

@acg
I bought the motor and regulator straight from Lucky8. I tested using the other rear windows motor and still had the same issue.

@The Deputy
I have moved the switches around (from rear to front, and swapped the sides) and had no luck there either.

I guess the next place l'd check would be harness, from switch to regulator, especially between door frame and door.. It's possible a wire could be rubbed through, partially, not giving enough amperage to motor. Takes a lot less amperage to lower glass than to raise.

Granted, could be a bad motor, parts nowadays are garbage for the most psrt...no matter where you buy (not picking on Lucky 8).
