Default recalls???

Hello all,

I purchased a disco 2, LOVE IT!!!!

my question is...looking at the list of recalls for 1999 disco 2, will the dealership honor these????
I was going to print them off and call the dealership.

is this the right way to do this????

and what if the dealership tell me to go fly a kite?

and feed back is appreciated

Ralph

Default RE: recalls???

You call the dealer with your vin, ask him to run i for recalls and see what shows up. Not all Recalls listed on some of the web listings are accurate so don't try and tell the dealer what it is supposed to have. They will set up an appointment with you and fix those listed by Rover for your truck.

The dealership will honor ALL factory recalls, they don't really have a choice in the matter. They are paid by Land Rover and it is required of them as a dealership to carry out recall repairs. Most dealerships will check for outstanding recalls as soon as the truck arrives for service. It's possible that they have been done on your truck if the previous owner brought it to the dealer for servicing.Check for the metal recall sticker plates on your rad support. The tech's usually apply them there.
