Default Recommendations for a good non drilled or slotted front brake rotor

OK, after several days of reading about brake rotors and pads. I've decided to buy the Akebono pads and some NON DRILLED - NON SLOTTED rotors.

I'm on a very tight budget due to loss of employment recently, so, as much as I love the look of drilled etc rotors, and would love to buy the best just to brag about it,....I just want rotors that won't fail or warp in a daily driver scenario. I feel the same way about brake pads,....but the fear of ABS issues has me leaning towards the AKEBONO pads to minimise ABS issues.

Any suggestions for a reliable and reasonably priced front rotor.

PS,....anyone who has gone totally on the cheap for rotors and pads and has extensive miles on them with them working well, please let me (us) know.

EBC makes a good one. Amazon should have a good price.

And here's a link to all of Amazon's EBC products for the DII...

Amazon Amazon

I have been using the EBC Performance drilled/slotted rotors up front for a year or more, the UPRs in the rear, and Akebono ceramic pads and have been very pleased.

Still not finding a non-drilled vented EBC rotor for the front. Did you see one somewhere? I've been looking everywhere on Amazon for about 30 minutes.

Just buy the cheapest non-drilled rotor you can find.

As long as you're not doing WRC or abusing the hell out of them, the cheapest rotors you can buy will do just fine.

I am about to install R1 Concepts, Eline rotors. Someone here is running them. If you google them, they get good reviews on other non LR forums. I paid $136 shipped for all four, via eBay.
