Thanks for all the help!
It turns out I'm going with the Firestone Destination AT. They were available (leaving for the desert in a week) and not too bad $130.
My mechanic is going to mount and balance them today. Gotta take the 18" off and store them now!! I've had the 16" rims sitting in the garage for several months.
Will let the group know my initial impressions and then when I get back from the desert.
