Default Regular Gas on Disco 2

Stop by Lukoil to get gas. The pump guy pumped regular. I noticed around 5 gallons when I told him to stop. They tried to siphon the gas out but no luck. Lift the truck up and looked for some drain plugs but nothing they can find. They even tried to remove the rubber hose near the tank underneath but cant. After several hours, they told me that they will add an octane booster and fill the tank with premium gas. Since it was getting late and cold, they did the last solution and I asked them to write me a note that they pumped regular gas in the truck.
Q: What are the consequences of pumping regular gas that much?
Will that affect the performance of the car?
Thanks

Start looking for another truck, your truck will never be the same. In all seriousness, it is OK, regular every once in a while won't hurt but it can really upset the Land Rover Gods.

5 gal of 87 octane mixed with 20 gal of 93 octane will net you around 90 octane.
Mid grade gas is just regular and premium mixed.
Dont worry about it, hell, I even run regular when out of town and the gas station is shady.
All that will happen when you use regular every once in a blue moon is you will get lower mpg.
Run it all the time and then you are looking at potential serious problems.

In NJ, by law, they have to pump it for you. You aren't allowed to pump for yourself! Some sort of make-work project I think!

Yeah, the other day (I always buy Shell-V Power). The red V-Power premium is usually on the right in the selection of 87-89-93 here in Indiana. I chose the right as normal. Well this shell had the Regular(87) on the right. I filled 2 gallons before I caught it. No big deal when I was putting in almost 20 gallons.
