Related to brakes???
For some time now I have been dealing with a rapid jerk of the steering wheel from side to side when braking. (travels from the 10 to 2 position back and forth) Happens most times I stop from a range of speeds, occasionaly I stop with our noticing it. I have replaced the steering stabilizer, bleed all the brake lines, replaced the rear brake pads (in need), cheked for loose connection or leaks in the power steering assembly and linkage. No mud inside of wheels which would cause an unbalanced feel. Possible rotors/front pads??? Anything else to check.

Thanks for any help!

Are your front rotors warped? Have you check all your tie rod ends for looseness?
Does this happen every time you stop or after driving for awhile, is your steering tracking as you go down the road?
Is there any unusual noise when this happens?

Rotors were my next suspect, pads need to be replace anyhow. steering tracks fine under travel. Tie rod ends appear to be ok to the best of my knowledge. This action happens 90% of the stops, occasionaly I will notice it did not occur. Can not link that to a certain speed or road condition however.
Shout when you get ready to buy pads and rotors or go to Atlantic British and buy their mid grade brake combination, make sure to use lots of sound deadening spray on the pads backing plate and do a full brake bleed using 2 quarts of brake fluid.
