Default Remaining head gasket kit bits - what are they?

Have some extra little bits that came in the head gasket kit and thinking some might be for the GEMS engine? But not sure and wanted to check before wrapping up...

I see a thermostat gasket, a TPS gasket, injector cushions, throttle body heater gaskets. Don't know what the little grommet is. Copper seals are probably for sensors in the coolant or oil systems. I do have GEMs vehicles.

OK, so other than the TPS gasket, sounds like it's all N/A.

Correct, tons of extra bits in those kits.

So strange. Seems so wasteful to throw away perfectly good parts.

It's pretty standard for engine kits. Make one set that covers a variety of configurations. Makes for far simpler inventory control and manufacturing.
