Remote receiver access
My current working theory for why my remote access does not work is that the receiver has been toasted by water ingress. Does anyone have any experience in replacing this? I have some questions:
1) I understand that the receiver is located by the rear sunroof, I've read that to access it I need to remove the "trim seal" can this be one from inside the truck without removing the headliner? The words "trim seal" don't appear as such in the RAVE.
2) What part number should I be looking for for a replacement ('99 D2)?
3) I also understand that the coding/programming lives in the BCU and this should be a simple swap out, can anyone confirm that?

1) Yes, you can pull the trim, then pull the headliner down just enough to get it out.
2) I think it's YWY000090 but I'm not certain. US units use a different frequency than in Europe. 315 I think, but again not certain. Check yours first.
3) Yes, no reprogramming required.
