Default Remove front rubber grill guard - Trail Package?

So yesterday I gave ma 04' LRD a brake job. This has to be the easiest truck to work on when it comes to the brake pads (ignition wires not so much). I think I had it done in an hour. I was then looking at the truck and thought to remove the factory front grill guard as this has the trail package. Has anyone ever removed this? One thing I don't want if I remove it are a bunch of exposed holes in the bumper so I'm curious if anyone out there has done this. I've attached a pic of the front guard and fog lights so you know which guard I'm referring to.

one advantage you have over the 99-02 is yours is a 3 piece bumper, so if there is holes you only have to replace the center section and not a whole 700 bumper cover.

I was assuming since this is part of the package that it just bolted on and is not part of the front bumper. I am only seeing a full bumper piece at AB and not the center piece only. I suppose I can find some black plastic ring plugs for the holes as well. Really want to know before I get into it if it's an easy take off.

First off, I have never removed one so cannot attest to the hole issue.

But I have removed an 03/04 bumper. The bumper is all one piece including the center. The only 2 pieces that can be removed are the end caps where there are fog lights, or in the case of the "S" model, no fog lights.

So, If there are holes you have to fill them with some caps or something along those lines.

Here's a link to land rovers instruction for the install. If you remove it any interest in selling it?

Thanks for the link, I did call AB yesterday and they told me the instructions probably weren't available since LR has gone through two ownership changes. Let me take it off and see what it looks like underneath. I would be interested in selling it. Not sure what this is new so I'm not sure how to price it. Make me an offer? It's in perfect condition BTW.

That was easy enough. There are only 4 connection points, two long lower bolts under the beauty caps, then two metal straps that secure the top part of the guard at the top of the engine bay. Probably took 20 minutes to take it off with minimal cosmetic problems to the front end. I just need two black plastic caps to cover the holes. So, yes, I'll sell it.

Did some research on the prices of the guard and fog lamps. I saw $595 for the OEM Rover lights that look identical to mine. Holy, those are pricey. I found the same guard for 875.

Well the trucks sold for $40k new and now sell for $2k
that's 1/20
So if your lights and guard sold for $1470 new 1/20 would be $73.50 might as well round it off to $75.
