Removing the Driving Lamps
Hello all!
I have decided to remove the silly stock driving lamps. They aren't reliable and I'd like to upgrade once I get the brush guard I want (a ways down the road).
Is there anything I should be aware of when removing these? I'm trying my best to not just rip them out...haha.
Thanks so much!

They are not reliable because they are still using the factory system / kit
You have 2 options,
Easiest is to simply re-wire thelights straight to the full beam circuit and they will ALWAYS work. WIll take about 20 mins for anyone who can uses cutters , wire strippers, crimps and a crimp tool. All you will need to purchase is a standard 4 pin Automotive relay. If I lived close to you I would come and do it, its ever so easy.
All the details are here in the later half of the page

Or you can re-wire them to still use the factory dash switch, but theres a lot more involved.

Is there a way to remove them now, and once I get new driving lamps, reinstall them so I can use the dash button?
Or should I just forget about the dash button?
I want to take off the brush guard that I have currently. I'm not looking to replace it any time soon. It just doesn't do much of anything right now except hold lights that refuse to work.

If you need help with the truck let me know, I will be down your way next week. I need to get a little warmer weather.
Simplest way to remove them is unplug or cut the wires at the lights and unbolt them. If you cut the wires leave them long enough that they can be reused in the future in case you decide to sell them or reinstall them.
