Default removing SAI tubes at engine

Anyone know of a good trick for removing the SAI tubes without ruining the lines? I slightly kinked a line trying to remove them once before before giving up. This time it has to come off for a head gasket job. I am borrowing a friends torch tomorrow to heat up the bolts a little bit (yes I know, don't melt the copper to try and get them loose. Any other ideas, let me know.

O.K. so realized tonight my friend's idea of using heat to loosen those SAI bolts may not be the best idea. Seeing as I have soaked many bolts including the SAI in PB blaster to help loosen things up prior to attacking them. After all, this car is in my garage so if I take out my car my house goes with it. Hmm, I didn't get to spring cleaning this year. Any idea people or how did you deal with yours?

You should be able to get a crescent wrench on the big nut for the tube and a second one on the square end of the part that goes into the engine.

Sorry, but I cant remember the sizes.

Default wrenches

Thanks, I didn't try putting one on the engine side. I can find the sizes, that isn't a problem. Will give that a try tomorrow.

Sorry, meant combo wrench, but a crescent wrench might work too.

Yeah, I was going to try a combo. I never have much luck with crescents, they always end up rounding things. I just never looked closely at the other side of the nut. I assumed it was round. This should work, well better work as I don't intend to be putting 230 a side in for new ones.

If you have time and patience, I like the combination of PB Blaster and heat. My O2 sensors came out with just the socket and no ratchet handle after a week of PB 15 minutes after engine shut down. As the component cools, it sucks in the penetrating oil. Just like a plumber sweats a copper pipe fitting.
