Default Repair/body shop in Los Angeles and ARB bumper ?s

well, the title is mostly self explanatory. i got into a fender bender and have some front end damage and I'm looking for somewhere to fix it. but I'm hoping to somewhere with some knowledge or experience with these bc I'm considering some extra or alternate work to it along with maintenance as well. so id actually like some input on this too.

instead of just doing the stock front end I'm thinking of just getting an ARB front to beef up the front end. plus i thought id probably be cheaper to buy that then all the oe stuff anyway. I'm just concerned with all the extra weight of it. so I'm wondering what else i need to do to front suspension and/or back to handle it all? i have an HSE with air bags in the back if thats pertinent. i need to keep pretty close to stock height bc the garages are so low around here i can't go much, if any higher.

id appreciate any and all the help you guys can give me. thanks in advance.

I have run big beefy bumpers on stock suspension before. It's not that big a deal. You can go for HD springs, but I say mount it up and rolloff with what you got, if you're not going to run a winch, I think you're going to be okay. It is not going to sit funny, but if you feel like you're dipping too hard over the speed bumps, address it then.... A spring swap is no big deal.

Sorry I can't help you with shops around LA. We go there a lot, but between your horrible Mexican food and even worse traffic...... We have never stayed long enough to actually test out a shop.

I know a good shop in anaheim, the owner has a D2.

What color is your HSE? I have 2 front fenders and a hood white color in Huntington Beach.

The real Mexican food doesn't skirt around the continent, it comes right up the middle! Tex-Mex is just a bonus...
but you guys are able to make a landmarks out of subdivision sales signs, so you got us there....
and you have a mechanical bull on the main drag, at a touristy restaurant, so you got us, there
Oh, and you have farmers markets, selling produce, that cost more than whole foods… so you got us,there
Oh, you also have the smog! So, you got us there!
........ Did I mentioned the traffic?

I helped a buddy move from NorCal to SoCal a couple years back. I drove his Honda Civic, while he drove a U-Haul. After driving around in the disco for a couple months before, LA traffic in a Civic was truly traumatic.

Not only can you not see anything, you have NO clout in traffic. People just drive right into you, horn not withstanding(I mean, it's a Civic...).

Ok Dusty, white flag. Bless your heart, Ya'll just ain't used to our organic food and high falutin farmers markets, it's just too darn healthy for your fragile constitution! Yee ha!

Next time ya'll in the neighborhood, stop by. Sure would love to show you some of that down home southern(California) hospitality!

Did I mention Yee Ha?

Jwigum- I hear you. I have 2 Alfa Romeos and I hate them on the freeway in traffic, especially after driving a discovery.

I joke, not trying to step on your Birkenstocks.
we visit, your land, once or twice a year. love it. we usually stay on the beach....Venice most of the time. I like the farmers markets, we go every time. wish we had one like it. dallas has a tiny one that is always on the verge of going bust.

Check out Pro Car Mechanics. It's where I bought my Rover. They specialize in BMWs and Land Rovers. Pretty reasonable prices too.

You need to drive a Prius. Then everyone thinks you are a Movie Star and they get out of your way. Or is it now the Chevy Volt? Whatever is the Cool Car for Movie Stars (Spelled: Morons) to drive now days.
