Has anyone had to replace a fender flare on a D2? I need to paint mine, but one actually has a gouge taken out of it, so I want to replace it with a parted out truck. I read that once you remove them, they are hard to get back on without leaving gaps. should I just buy one new one, or can I replace this one with a used one? What brackets/clips/etc. would I need if I bought a used one online? Any tips to avoid gaps?

I have replaced them with no problem. Used ones work fine. To refinish them, I recommend spray bedliner. If you need one and/or the fasteners, shoot me a email and I'll be happy to help you out.
