Just take the drive belt off and replace with the non ACE belt by bypassing the pump. Simple, easy and effective. I drove like a year like that on my old truck as the new lines were not worth the fix.

SNAFU, just curious you said you used a non ACe belt, by chance do you know the part number?

Have you tried just installing a section of Line 3/8 steel line and two compression fitting. fixed my blown ACE line that way no issues.
