My complete long block arrived today. The shop owner (nearly 15 years as a Land Rover tech) said it's beautiful. He called it the "real deal." Thanks for the heads up on the misfire codes. I'm hoping that doesn't occur, but if it does, I won't rule out the cam. I do have sai and they do now provide gas flowed heads for sai, as that is what I got. I'm hoping since I went with the long block built in house by Turner and the install of the entire engine, front cover, water pump, radiator, all new hoses, tensioner, pulleys, belt, coils, wires, plugs, etc. is being done by a veteran Land Rover tech all should be good. My fingers are crossed for this project to be problem free. The Disco gets towed to the shop next week. Just waiting for a new flex plate and radiator to arrive. All the other parts are loaded up ready to go!

I'll snap some pics early next week when I drop off the Disco. I can't wait to check out the new engine.

It looks great! If I could do it again, I would have them enamel the engine in a light color. Easier to keep clean! Can't wait to hear how it runs.

Geez, you just had to get a picture of the Rover on the tow truck with a Jeep right next to it...
