Hmmm, simples https://www.google.fr/search?q=meerk...w=1280&bih=706 may I politely suggest you Google the subject, plan it and also have some muscular help and a good trolley jack and bolt on steel plate to drop it down. Unless you are of Herculean strength it requires some serious assistance as it weighs 55kgs+ and not easy to handle lying down underneath.

Replacing an LT230 Transfer box - Land Rover Technical Archive - LR4x4 - The Land Rover Forum .................. this will give you some insight on the subject, take care and good luck as we don't want to be reading your obit in the press.

Juan......we call him hi lift because he rotates his tires, barefoot, without a jack. he'll probably have it out in 30 minutes using only a skateboard and an old tooth brush.

It's the old toothbrush that makes all the difference, it's gotta be old ...........

Good ol' Juan. Dusty's got the number to a good Doc to stitch you up if you crunch a toe or two.

When you get around to doing this can you take a bunch of pictures for the rest of us please?

I've been thinking of buying a used T-Case and rebuilding it and then just swapping the old one out so I have no down time on the truck. The only thing holding me back is I have no lift and will have to do the swap laying on my back. I'm just not sure I have that in me. If you don't mind I'll watch you struggle before I give it a go.

Good luck - hope all goes well AND don't take any chances, broken bones are a serious setback

Well, work called me in on saturday and i had to find the girl a new car as hers was totaled out and we got the insurance check in.

i drove through two tanks of gas to get her a vehicle we both agreed on, but it was worth it.

picked up an 05 jeep grand cherokee for 5k. not a bad day at all.\\\NOT

tcase duty might come on after brakes get done. :/
