Well I didn't mention it for two reasons. Firstly there was nothing wrong with the motor so it didn't need to be taken out. Secondly, if you don't get gung ho and macho about it the motor comes out fine with a bit of fiddling.
It's generally the non-genius brigade that have the problem...
