Replacing Window Regulator and having an issue
I cannot get the window down to loosen the bolts for the window bar to detach it. The window is stuck at the very top.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Even though you plan to replace the bad window regulator you may have to lube it with WD40 or similar to get it to move enough to get the fasteners apart. Can be a PITA - take your time.
I've had to take the housing off the motor and turn the shaft with pliers to get windows to the right place so you can get the bolts out. It can be a pain. Just be careful with the glass!
Hey guys.....reviving this thread because I'm having the same issue as the original poster.
Window won't roll down more than an inch or so and then gets stuck. This prevents me from being able to get to the window bolts to release the regulator.
Any tips?
Thanks!

Got it done. Just have to release all the bolts holding the regulator to the door frame, then the window will drop down enough to get to the bolts holding the regulator to the window, from there it's apiece of cake!
