Default replacing Wrangler Hp's...help please!

Brand new to the forum and like what i have read so far. I am replacing the garbage Goodyear Wrangler HP's on my 2003 Disco SE. Read some reviews on tirerack.com but wanted some input from regulars. Any suggestions.

FYI- Truck is used in Snow/Ice/Rain in winter months and driven year round. Looking at Michelin 4x4 Synchrones, Pirelli Scorpion Zero's, or Goodyear Forteras. Thanks for the input! -T

What size wheels, how big a tire are you going to use, any off roading?

255/55/18 is what the HP'sare and I was going to stay in that size, same rims. Not really too much offroading unfortunately, love to drive it in snow and icy conditions when we get it. Any recommendations??I am open to a bigger tire as long as I can get it on the stock rims.

Thanks Mike! -T

I got these Yokohamas installed about 2k miles ago. The original Wrangler HP's were still on her when I bought it...well worn after only 33k, they were scaloped and making wierd *womp, womp* sound. Was not about to put on another set of those crappy tires.

You'll need to select "Land Rover" from the drop-down box (Filter by Vehicle) to see the reviews from Land Rover drivers (3 discos and 2 Range Rovers)

http://www.tirerack.com/survey/Surve...ommentStatus=P

So far Iam very pleased with the Yokohamas andconcur with those other Land Rover drivers as far as the value, roadholding, braking, wet traction, steering and quietness. Cannot comment on wear rate, snow or ice traction yet.
