Reprogram BCU for Coils & Read ABS Codes in South NJ / Philly Area
After many years with a P38, I just picked up a 2000 Disco II. I am looking forward to my next great Land Rover adventure. It currently has the 3 Amigos on the dash and was converted to rear coil springs by it's P.O. I am certain that the P.O. did not have the BCU reprogrammed, so I am looking for any advice for someone in my area (Southern NJ / Philadelphia PA) who has the tools to get this done. I am aware that the 3 Amigos are from another ABS related fault which I will need to deal with as well, I would just need to know which component(s) to look at.
I already have a generic OBDII scanner and I figure I will purchase a Amigo V1 as it seems like something every Disco owner should have (as I plan to keep this vehicle for years to come), but the Hawkeye just seems a little too pricey to justify, just to use to do this one reprogram task (I thought I read it was the cheapest option that could do it)..
I am brand new here, but have some experience with LR's over the years. Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
