does anyone know if an altell scan tool can reprogram my 2001 discovery II as reading having coil springs and not air suspension?

 

Only a scanner with Rover software for the SLS system can shut down the SLS system, something like a Hawkeye or better.

 

If you post the general area you are located in, someone might have something that could help you out.

There are certainly some rover people in that area. I don't know any of them.

according to the service center with the altell scan tool he has the rover software,still not sure if it will work though

 

im in boston but it would probably cost you more in gas than going to the dealer

 

takes two minutes to program to sls. the mechanic can do it with our handheld in the parking lot.

shouldn't charge you for anything less then a half an hour. hell its easier to change the coil status then change a lightbulb.
