Default Research on LR vehicles

Hi, I am a student at Birmingham University studying Mechanical Engineering. As part of my Final Year Project based on Land Rover vehicles, could you please take some time to answer my questions below

1 What model is your Land Rover vehicle?

2 How satisfied are you with your vehicle on a scale from 0 to 10?
(0 = very unhappy, 5 = ok, 10 = very happy)

3 What do you like about your vehicle?

4 What do you dislike about your vehicle?

5 What problems have suffered with your vehicle?

6 Would you another Land Rover product?

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions.

1- 1996 Discovery 1
2- 10
3- As long as you take care of it, it's going to take care of you. It really is the best 4x4xfar.
4- The only 2 issues I have is that it might not fit in the parking garage here at school after my lift and roof rack are put on, and upkeep is expensive for a full time student.
5- In 2 years I've only had a failed water pump/viscous coupling and 1 flat tire, after I found a 1/2"x6" bolt (yes bolt) in one tire.
6- I plan on it. I'm 19 years old, this is my first truck, and I plan on driving LRs for a long time to come.

good luck with your studies

1-I have a 1997 Discovery with 174,000 miles on it.
2-10
3-I like nothing about my truck and LOVE everything about it.
4-I dislike how little I have been driving it lately.
5-Problems have been wheel bearings, alternator and water pump. The rest has been expected replacement of wear out items.
6-Yes I will be buying another Land Rover. A Series I or II. Maybe a 2004 Discovery if I can get one with the TD5.
