1 1996 Discovery 1 and 1997 Discovery 1

2 8

3 Looks, ride/comfort, 4x4, fairly easy service, RAVE CD

4 Can't find/use oversized pistons, high octane gas

5 head gaskets on both

6 Couldn't afford to buy a new one - they're $96,000 in the US. Might buy another older one to fix up.

1 What model is your Land Rover vehicle?
2 How satisfied are you with your vehicle on a scale from 0 to 10?
(0 = very unhappy, 5 = ok, 10 = very happy)
3 What do you like about your vehicle?
4 What do you dislike about your vehicle?
5 What problems have suffered with your vehicle?
6 Would you another Land Rover product?

Hi, I am a student at Birmingham University studying Mechanical Engineering. As part of my Final Year Project based on Land Rover vehicles, could you please take some time to answer my questions below

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions.

1. 1996 SE7NAS Discovery

2. 9.0

3. Its drives very good on road and great for off road.
I can see out better that most other trucks,, very open airy.
Easy to work on.

4. Lack of preformance parts in the US.
Rust prone.
Small fuel tank lack of range pre-fillup.

5. Rear window controller,,head gaskets,,

6. Not at this time as Land Rover is more of Road Rover than "Land".
If the Defender's come to the US then I will write my check.
