Default Restoring Baham Beige dash color

Hey all!

The PO never put up a sunshade to protect the dash of the BB D2, as a result, the lovely looking tan has mutated into some sort of off shade of brown/green. Is there any hope or hack to fix the color or is it just that way now?

You could use a plastic/vinyl dye

Respray and use a matte UV resistant clear would be perfect. I would not relish taking it out or putting back in, but it’s theoretically possible.

You'll likely break many supports and tabs removing it though.

I would think it would be a two man job to do it right. Just a guess tho.

Anything is possible, but it would be really hard to position and spray.

here is another source of products and info. There may be a path for you to simply clean / prep / paint (brush) your dash.

You also might want to consider going with the Rolling Stones... Paint it Black.
