Default Rim Demensions/Options

Hi again. I'm interested in swapping the 18" inch rims on my Disco for some 16s with snow tires for the winter. Are Rover wheels the only wheel options that will fit? I found quite a few 16x7 options with 5x120 offsets on ebay, but am not sure if the diameter of the studs and lug nuts will fit. I would prefer to buy a used set since these will be winter rims, so any help expanding my options is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If the 5x120 pattern is on the rim they will prolly work. You will likely need to find some 14mm x1.5 acorns. Easy enough
Some bimmers have that pattern too

From what I was looking at BMW lug patterns (researching this myself) as long as it's a 5 lug bmw rim it will work and the offsets look good as well. The center bore though is not a match for the DII. So instead of a hub centric mounting like we currently have it would be lug centric.

Unfotunately 16" BMW wheels seem to cost more than Landy wheels

Why not look for NATO steelies? They aren't that expensive. I put used 16 inch wheels from a P38 RR on my Disco. I bought 5 used wheels in good condition for around $200. I had to clean them up a bit since they'd been stored outside. They were local and I didn't have to pay shipping.

For me I haven't found much to choose from locally. The few sets I've found have been expensive enough that I would be better off to find aggressive tread 18" tires.

and aren't our wheels lug centric and not hub centric?

I'm looking for 16" x probably 7" with the correct offset to clear everything.

I want tires something like these. (hope this dude don't mind me using his pic)

I think he has the aftermarket steel wheels but, these are the type of tires I'm after and hoping I can maybe find wheels, that look halfway decent, at local salvage yard that will work without costing as much as I paid for the truck.

He must have used adapters as I'm seeing the 5 lug navigator rims use a 5x135 lug pattern. Which definitely won't work for the DII.

Not sure this is 100% accurate but seems to be.
