Default RimmerBros Shipping

Has anyone from the southwest (america) ordered something large from them? I've been waiting almost a week just to get a shipping quote from them on a rear bumper/steering bars/springs/etc. Deciding if it's worth waiting or just ordering from Ab/Lk8.
I think my order is large enough that I might benefit from RimmerBros pricing - really comes down to shipping.

Anyone else notice lk8 increased prices on a couple items before their black friday discounts? I was almost positive prices jumped.

I think they are a little slow getting back to you I think it took 10 days, I ended up using Paddock spares. I would have went to Lucky 8 but it ended up cheaper to order shipped to my door from the UK. But I am in Canada and the big couriers play stupid games with customs clearance US - to Canada

Hmm, will have to check out paddock spares. Do you remember what your shipping ended up being? I have no concept of shipping rates for large items overseas.

@Chris59 For a Bearmach rear bumper it took 5 days to my door. Shipping via DHL Express - Ł165.00GBP about 220.00 US plus 90.00 CDN in duties and taxes that was expected.

Yes, I've placed 3 Rimmer Bros orders in past few months (during pandemic) and things showed up in less than a week to west coast US.

Some small bits. One quite large trim piece. I've actually been blown away with how fast. Faster than my US purchases in most instances.

@Richard Gallant @nashvegas Thanks for the context - will update once RimmerBros gets back to me. Maybe i'll have everything before christmas.
In general, dhl has been pretty fast for me for small packages from the uk. I forgot about duties - will have to see what that comes out to.

If you call Lucky8 they’ll make a deal to get your business.

Shipping was super fast, faster than from east coast. I had items that fitted into a regular box, maybe big items like bumpers is not that easy to get a good quote quickly.
