Roof-Mount Light Bar - How to Route Wiring
More than likely, I will take your advice and run the wires through the exterior A-pillar. Seems the most logical route.
I picked up and mounted the light bar this afternoon. Well...it wasn't what I thought it was. It's a custom fabbed light bar which mounts to the roof rails, just above the sunroof. I was hoping it was the bar that mounted just above the windshield.
However, I was happy with the quality the unit regardless. The install was very quick. I mocked it up, measured for plumb, and drilled holes (2 each side) in my roof rails. Overall, I'm really happy with it and makes the truck look bad a$$.
Wiring comes tomorrow.
Here are some pics taken with the Droid. Enjoy!

looks good,
I am in center city.. society hill area... we should get together. I used to live on Maple avenue almost looks like you are off edge hill. enjoy the wiring..I would look at the same approach with a little more exposed due to the placement.
Cheers
