Does anyone have any opinions on Northwest Parts reputation or quality regarding their roof racks?

I have a Yakama set up and I love it. I used the low rise bars that attatch to the existing racks that came standard on my 03 disco. I also got a Yakama Snowboard rack and it works really nice. Good quality stuff that does not make much wind noise.

 

ive never seen one in person but i hear the welds arent done very well and the paint chips easily

 

How old is this rack? I have heard in the past that they had some quality issues, you might be better off just having a local welder making the necessary repairs.
