Rotational vibration/rumble when turning but not on center
Hey all! The 2004 just started getting a weird rotational vibration when turning even a degree off center in both directions. I suspect tires? But they only have 3000 miles on them.
Wheel bearings, CV joints and all ball joints and tie rods are new within the last 500 miles.
Any ideas? I guess I could rule out tires if I rotated the backs to the front?

Didn't you add wheel spacers to this one? If so, check torque of lugnuts. Like anything, especially front end or brakes, get it up in the air and physically check things out. The words, "new" mean absolutely nothing to me anymore. Parts quality is so hit or miss nowadays...new stuff has to be ruled out.
THIS IS SO TRUE AND SO FRUSTRATING. haha. I hate hate hate that I can't rely on new parts being ruled out as suspects, but you're so right. I've replaced so many new wheel bearings, I've got the entire process down to 52 minutes. I actually have a spare I'll swap on today to trouble shoot. I think it's a wheel bearing, which is just gross because it's been replaced SO many times already.
I'm also thinking it might not be torqued properly. I had a friend work on it when I was on vacation. The nut was torqued on with a 1/2 impact gun. He wasn't aware it needed 360 ft lbs.
I'm troubleshooting a vibration that starts around 65 mph. It's a high frequency buzzing almost. I've replaced so many parts now trying to figure this out. I'm suspecting a cheap eBay hub bearing I got off eBay as it was the only change before the vibration started. What do you think?

Guys just an update, after an insane amount of troubleshooting it turns out it was my driveshaft. I had a reputable shop thats been in business for 30 years completely rebuild my "HD" shaft after the centering ball broke in under 5k miles. After it came back I had a high frequency vibration at 70 mph. I sent it back to them and they rebalanced it and called it good. After that, I had the same vibration. After changing a lot of parts the problem was still there. At wits end, I called up a shop called Mr. Driveshaft in farmingdale, nj and within a day he had rebuilt the entire thing and had it balanced at high RPM. I installed the unit the next day and the vibration was GONE. The odd part is that I ordered another HD shaft from rovers north and it had the same vibration as well. Go Figure. I highly recommend sending your problem shafts to Mr. Driveshaft.
