Centralizing bushing removal
Can I ask the method that you used to get yours out? I've got some wear on mine and been fighting with it using the pump grease in & hit a bolt/socket & extension the size of the center opening to use the hydraulic action of the grease to try to press the bushing out - see this YouTube clip, but replace a bolt the diameter of the pump tool (which is $$$$$ and not an option for me to buy):
As you see, this is similar to the method in the other video in the thread. My centering bushing is not budging using this method. I've even heated up the end of the driveshaft where it presses in, but can't get any movement. A lot of grease mess, a few destroyed sockets and extensions and a full tube of grease. Just headaches so far and a disabled '03 in the driveway to date.
