Default Rotor follow up, new questions

Repalced all four rotors and two front shock and 1 rear air bag today. Everything seems fine. I went with a slot drilled rotor. Looks great but the wear on them looks funny and sound like the might be dragging. Never used them before and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Also now the 3 amigos have arrived. Not sure why. Any ideas? One word of advice to any who is putting on new rotors. Get your biggest hammer and go buy one twice as big. They were a bear to get off. Thanks for the help. This forum has been great for me.

What brand of pads and rotors did you install, did you use the sound deadening spray I suggested. The ABS is on because your pads aren't seating in, hence making noise.

Drilled/slotted rotors always make whirring noise - make sure you didn't put pad in backwards - that would definately make noise & funny wear pattern

No, mike I forgot to use the deadening spray. Will that kill the sound? Its not a squeak, but a dragging sound. It goes away when then brake pedal is pressed. I bought the rotors from thermal brakes and the pads were bought from orielly's. They are a semi metalic. Is that why there's a noise? There is a grooving pattern. But it looks like the sprayed the rotors with something and its wearing off. Should the wear pattern be uniform? Thanks for the help guys.

Also, did you clean the caliper rails & apply caliper grease on same? (where the pad moves in the caliper)

This will help prevent cocking & binding of pads
