Default Rotor Rust

Any of you guys put any sort of coating on the wheel hub portion of the rotor to prevent rust?

Some manufacturers have an e-coating applied to the hub of the rotor, I try to stick with that. For the inside of the hub that touches the wheel bearing I put a thin coat of antisieze. I think paint would be your only
option as heat will bake off fluid film, etc. Maybe brake caliper paint?

My Brake Motive Rotor's are Zinc coated and still look basically new. I use a wire wheel on a drill to clean the backside of the rim where it mates to the rotor. Makes removal a breeze! Some P38/D2's I've worked on the hardest part of the darn job was getting the darn wheels off due to corrosion between the rim/rotor.

I use spray chain wax. Coats it with a lubricating wax that is dry and will not attract dirt.
