Rough Idle

Rough Idle
Hi Guys,
Newbie here, both to the forum and to Land Rover. Got myself a 3.9L v8 Auto 1999 Series 1. It's got a rough idle problem which is proving difficult to diagnose.
Problem is pulling up to lights then the revs can dip to stalling point, usually recover but then start heading south again. It's got a new fuel filter, Air Mass Sensor, Temp Sensor, cleaned throttle body and AICV, and fuel filter. It's better but still not right. Had the main dealer take a look who only adjusted the idle speed, but it's still rough!
Getting disheartened, but still going to try TPS, VSS and new AICV. Any other cheap options would be appreciated!
Thanks
Ben

RE: Rough Idle
The reason a GEMS engine stalls at idle is because the stepper motor is bad. Adjusting the idle wont do, you need to replace the Idle Control Valve, also called the stepper motor.
Also put on new plugs and wires.
So where are you located? I cannot place where you are in my head.
