what is the best way to run the wires from the lights on my roof rack and my cb antenna on the rack to the inside of the vehicle? should i just drill holes in the roof and seal them up or did rover plan ahead for this and incorporate something i am not aware of?

I don't know if the Disco has anything special for this, but on all my other vehicles I have used a Marine Wire Passthrough. Like this one. http://www.westmarine.com/1/1/21349-...or-marine.html

You add some RTV to seal it up nice and good. I have had it on my van roof for a couple years with no leaks. It might have snow sitting on it for months at a time, so I think that is a good test of the water tight seal.

Same rule would apply. If mine sits submerged then yours would be fine in rain.

Use something like an old extension cord or other multi-conductor cord that can be run to the individual lights so you can avoid having to run lots of smaller wires through a hole in the roof. Even sealed with RTV the space between all those individual wires increases your risk of leaking. I try to use bulkhead connectors for that kind of stuff so it is easier to remove if needed. I'll try to find a link to the connectors I like. Haven't wired roof lights in a while so I'm a little out of practice.
