Do the bypass thermostat mod and you can run whatver temp your want based on the thermostat you install, much more reliable thermostat and temps. If it still runs hot you have a plugged radiator - you can pop the end tanks off and flush it and it will be all good.

Jegs had a sweet looking inline for sale at 29.00 but it’s 1 1/2 vs 1 1/4... I really liked the design vs the usual one everyone uses.

Just use the back to back Chevy housings - I like it better because you only need standard 1/2 wrench to replace it. My buddy did his Dad's and the new housings were only $12 from Advance.

Finally had time to get back to my Landy. Viscous clutch on the fan was crapping out. Swapped it out and it seems to have fixed my issue.

I had another D2 awhile ago that I did full electric fans with an aluminum radiator. Worked really well when I was working in the desert. Nothing like a 130 degree day to bring out a Rover's weakness.
