Default Rusty footwells? Cat burning a hole?

Has anyone pulled up their carpets lately??? i did to fix some known rusting and i uncovered a nice size hole in the passengers footwell that is right above the cat! could it be from the heat? anyone got any suggestions after i patch it? i was thinking of wrapping the cat in a shielding material.

Got a nice project on my hands... will have to post some pics when i'm all done. I was going to replace the rear floor (boot for the brits), because mine is like swiss cheese.. but instead i bought another disco! now i have 2 go figure... they are like a drug!

Good call on the second Rover. I may have to do the same

Hmm... I have a DI, maybe I'll make this truck into a half trail/half road rig, buy a DII and keep it a road only/towing rig, and then get a Defender 90 and make it a hardcore trail rig! Oooh the possibilities...

Not likely that the cats mad the hole, most likely its from water sitting there over the years.
Rain water, clogged A/C drains, melted snow, etc.
