The S&M can't be extinguished until the T&A has been properly adjusted. In fact, trying to drive an un-adjusted T&A would lead to the S&M being DOA and then he'd be SOL in need of a Hummer.

And don't forget to inspect to rear main seal for leaks while you are greasing the shaft
