Sagging headliner

I opted to paint the fibreglass plannel rather than re-line it so i have a permanenet fix. A lot of talk about this on various forums of paint vs replacing the cloth trim, but as the headliner card in the disco is fibreglass rather than cardboard style, if copes with being painted.
I took my time, removed most of the interior trim and pulled the headliner card out. Lots of fiddly bits to pull out, but if you take your time and have the proper tools (like a trim remover kit) its not that hard.
After it was removed, the material just fell off, and i used a hard bristled brush and scrubbed all the foam and glue off. Was a lot easier than i expected.
Next i just used a acrylic primer (bought a 1 litre tin), and applied using a small roller and a brush for the corners. Put a very thick coat on and it came up pretty well.
Once that was dry, i gave it a good vaccum as the primer seems to go a bit dusty when it drys, and then i applied a final topcoat.
After a tip on another forum, i bought 2 cans of grey stoneguard paint. It leavs a bit of a textured finish and drys a bit like a rubber surfuce thats can cope with flex.
Came up pretty good. Will be a bit of a contrast to the fittings, but thats what i wanted after seeing photos of someone elses truck.

I too would like to see pics of the pins installed in the Disco!
BTW, they're already cheap as Headliner Repair Kit - but they're a lot less expensive when they are bought as Upholstery Twist Pins

Has anyone put plain white glue in a syringe, applied just a bit trough the cloth at the sagging locations, and kept pressing for a while until dry with a sponge and a stick against the ceiling ?
