You can buy these in an upholstery store. I believe they call them upholstery twist pins and they come in many different colors. The only bitch is if one drops out onto the seat and you sit on it

Sorry, been busy lately. The ins that I said fell out were straight pins with plastic round heads, not the twisted spiral type pins.
My headliner went from a few spots in front of sunroof, to just about everywhere behind the sunroof. (my D1 only has one front sunroof) so I will need quite a few to cover the back end. I will have to hold off as I am still working on recovery from Knee replacement surgery. Not much work getting done right now.

You may find that fewer pins than you imagine applied in critical areas will do the job. Poke with your finger to get a 'preview' of what the pins will do.

Just want to confirm that 60 '' headliner material is perfect width for the discovery headliner. Leaves very little that needs to be trimmed. I'm tackling this today and will post pics later tonight.

Got the first half done before in had to go to a bday party with my daughter. Will finish when I get home and take pictures.

Btw this headliner is a pita. So many contours and with foam back material it's quite hard to attach properly.

yeah I was wondering about that. Most I have done before are pretty straight forward. This one looks like a bear.
