SAI Pump Mounts Broken - Problem?
Hello all, new Rover owner here with a 2004 Discovery SE7. Runs very good despite the "Tick" and a minor coolant leak that I will be diving into as soon as possible.
My question right now is about the SAI Pump. I noticed that on mine all three rubber mounting bolts are broken, and it's just kind of laying there. I don't have any lights on the dash at all, but don't have anyway to scan to see if there are hidden codes regarding the SAI Pump.
Would this pump not being mounted cause any issues? I plan to fix it, but I have a few other things that I would rather prioritize if possible.
Thanks!!

It's even quicker if you just replace the rubber mounts with bolts! I did it to both of the SAI equipped D2's I owned and I never had another issue. People will say oh the pump will blow up or it's not good for it, but all they do is make it not transfer any vibrations into the cab. My SAI pumps were both in great shape and yeah when it was running for 30 seconds I could feel it, but after it shut off = no more problem. 15.00 for 3 bushings that will fail again, or 3.00 on 3 Stainless Steel bolts that won't ever fail ya, the choice is yours.

Yes, those are vibration isolators and its design to absorb vibrations for some reason. Advance auto if you need them immediately.
