Default SAI valve brackets - no studs

Found something funny on my 2000 today. Neither side SAI pipe/valves have the studs or replacement bolts. From prior ownership, not me!

Seems fine as is. They’re a bear sometimes to align, I guess that’s why.

Are these fasteners actually even needed? I know ppl say vibration etc but... they’re rock solid and nothing moves or vibrates. And it’s been like this for at least a couple years.

Appreciate thoughts. Shall I leave them as is?

My RH side SAI valve bracket was missing both bolts and I don't know for how long also. When I did the top end rebuild I added the 2 bolts that were missing and it wasn't easy. I had to loosen up all the piping connections and coolant hose clamps and mounts to get the bolts to align and not strip out the hole.

Someone did you half a favor. That bracket is much easier to re-install with bolts vs studs.

If you want to put bolts in there to secure it the size is M6-1.00 x 12
