The reason for the desire for the lift:

Today is Sunday, I am still sore from the 9 hour brake escapade on Wednesday. The only reason I wanted a lift was to save my back a little. Doing the work at eye level seems a bit better.

Thanks for all the advice. I will see if I can figure something out.
