Default Santa brought some codes...

Good morning everyone and Merry Christmas!!
Well as the title says, Santa showed up and left some codes as Christmas Presents :
Started with the truck running really rough, then P0304 and the Service Light came steady ON.
Turned the light OFF and later we got:
P0300 : Random/multiple cylinder misfire
P0304 : Cylinder 4 misfire
P0307 : Cylinder 7 misfire
With the Service Light FLASHING.
Not driving the truck now and wondering how to troubleshoot this.
Is it time for a tune up? New wires and plugs? or is it possible that is the coli pack?

thanks foray input.

I know it sounds crazy but on my older disco with a zillion miles its more sensitive to fuel than others. Gotten gas recently? I can literally fill up and shell and it will run great, start well etc, and then once near empty fill up at the cheapo station down the road it will run rough and cause check engines as soon as I start it. My Bmws don't do this, but my mini Cooper did. Maybe a British trait?

yes, might be gas. But if you decide to get a tune up, thats the best. Wires, plugs and coil packs. Enjoy the holidays!

Cylinders 4 and 7 are paired in the DII wasted spark ignition system. A bad spark plug or plug wire causing misfires on one of the paired cylinders can trigger misfires on the other.

When this happened on my truck seven years ago all I needed to do was replace the spark plugs. It is not always easy to determine whether it is a failure of the spark plug or the plug wire but in my case the wires were not very old and were high-quality but the genius "import specialist" shop had installed standard copper Champion plugs instead of the double platinum plugs the DII is designed to use.

What do you know about the plugs and wires installed in your truck? How old? What brand? And for the plugs, what type?

Yes just got gas from 2 "unusual" places, but the truck was already tuning rough lately. It felt like if it was misfiring but no codes more than O2 Sensors. Now the SES Light flashes and it feels like it falling at part. But again, the truck has been running rough lately, may be it was talking to me already, but I don't speak Rover yet..

I had been reading about 8MM wires and sparks, apparently there isn't really a concensus regarding the best brands to perform better. We don't do any off road YET! and it's mainly HWY commute, but we will like for the truck to run at its best. Any recommendation regarding brands ? Is this something we could get at AdvanceAutoParts?

That was funny!, Actually not sure if there is any evidence for the existence of "Santa" but there isn't really much evidence that could prove the "nonexistence" of Santa. That been said....could we speculate that this is a coincidence ? BTW what wires and plugs are you running?

Don't have any clue about what's on the truck today. Will try to upload some pictures to see if you guys recognize anything. But as I stated before, the truck has been running rough lately. At this point I'm really looking forward to do a tune up, and will like to know best recommendations for optimal performance.
What is your advice?
Thanks for the interaction, and will post some pics soon
