Default Saudi/Gulf bumper or trim stock bumper

Well I am on my second stock bumper in two years and it has cracked just as the previous one did. The lower portion that holds the fog lights seem to be universally problematic, cracking on the corners between the fogs and the wheel well. I am done replacing it with a stock unit and and I have no use for an ARB or similar style bumper. I know people have trimmed these up to look like a Saudi bumper but before I hack the bottom of my bumper off I wanted to hear from a few people that have actually done it. Include a picture if you have one.

I cut mine last week, super easy if you have a dremel tool or metal wheel. I love it looks great. I had the same problem with the bumper cracking by the fog lights. Ill try and get a picture to send you. If you decide to cut it there is a pretty good base line right above the fog lights that you can follow and when you get to the center grill part just follow the top.

Great, can't wait to see the pictures. How did you secure the wheel wells after you trimmed it?

Send me you email and ill get you a picture. I cut the wheel wells to match where the bumper was cut and just secured it as normal just no more bottom bolts.

A few weeks ago I took out the fog light while offroading so I decided to trim it up.

Going to try this w/ oscillating saw. I have a "the crack" on driver side but if I could figure out a way to reinforce it from behind, I would it. Anyone ever try taking it off and putting something behind it. Mine is intact (no missing pieces) so if I push from behind you can just barely see the cracks. Was thinking of pouring epoxy casting resin (Michael's) in the weak spots though it is still going to crack unless really thick pour and OR going to happen either way at some point..FYI there is a Disco II bumper cover on ebay that ends 14 hours from now....if someone still wants to replace one...
