Justa a code scanner. Won't do the Amigos. See http://rswsolutions.com/index.php?op...d=56&Itemid=55 for one device.

Also consider the Ultra Gauge as a code reader scanner (also won't do Amigos, but makes a great dash gauge for most everything else). UltraGauge Automotive Information Center and OBDII Scan Tool

I don't have a D2, so have not had that demon. May have to use a regular reader for that, but you should be able to do a search on here for that Amigo device. Moving up the hill is the Hawkeye, which does both and more, in the $500 - $600 range. See Hawkeye Diagnostic Tool for Land Rovers - D.A.P.

You are in a ton of luck because you own a DII, you my lucky friend need two, thats right, count them, TWO scanners, one for the engine codes and yet another for the ABS codes.
So you can spend the $85 plus shipping on the one that AB sells and then another $200 on the ABS Amigo.
Or you can spend $80 delivered for the Ultra-Gauge and another $200 on the ABS Amigo.
I have the Ultra-Gauge and I LOVE IT!!
Or you can go all out and buy the Hawkeye which will do everything.

I have the iCarsoft i930 (about 100 dollars) which is a full scanner and resets all systems (even srs and abs) and is land rover specific. But I found a newer one that looks even better... "iCarsoft LR II for LandRover" on Amazon. $165.

i also use the iCarsoft i930.

Does the iCarsoft LR II turn off the sls or still need a hawkeye for that?

the iCarsoft LR II looks pretty nice though.
