Default scangauge

Hi There,

does anyone know if the scangauge 11 can reset the three amigos once the problems that caused them have been addressed. My current OBD2 reader can clear the fault codes but cannot reset the three amigo warning lights. Is there any other way of doing it (I know that the battery disconnecting trick doesnt work on the D2.

By the way its a 2000 d2 v8.

Cheers Remmy7

No, the Scangauge does not communicate with the ABS. You will need either an ABS Amigo, Hawkeye, TekPro, or the Land Rover Test Book. I have a Hawkeye if you are not too far from No CA.

Very little the scan gauge can do when it comes to the SLS, ACE, ABS and SRS.

thanks for the info guys I was hoping to use the three amigos as an excuse to get a new toy in the form of a scangauge but I will just have to come up with another idea to justify it.

thospb:- I assume that by CA you mean California and I thank you for your very kind offer but you may have guessed by my question that I am about 5000-6000 miles down the road in Scotland. Once again guys thanks for the help.

Regards Remmy7

While the Scan Guage won't help you with the Three Amigos, I've found it to be very useful for monitoring engine temperature and MPG, in addition to some other things.
