ScanGauge question
As far as I am able to tell from reading the manual... NO!. but you might be able to find someone who can set up a program, as long as it has audible. but then I have to ask.... why not just look at the number.
Plus, I'm installing an oil pressure gauge that will make the almost-useless factory temp gauge impossible to read. Basically, the ScanGauge will be the primary means by which the coolant temperature is monitored. An audible alert would be nice, but isn't a dealbreaker. I know some of the ScanGauge competitors' do, but the ScanGauge seems to be the highest quality and the unit most likely to have a "factory" look.
Understand. I feel that the scan gauge is really the only one. More friends over the years have been using it than any other so when it came time for me to get one their was no thought. It sits nicely on the dash in clear view. Good luck.
The ScanGuage is cool. And the ablity to compare the F* water temperature to the air intake temp is cool. Plus the display matches the green on the instrument cluster. It looks like a great edition and is well worth the $175 to have an on-board OBDII reader and code re-setter on your steering column.

agree with all of that. especially when you have a code that no one can ever solve... like moi.
